I understand what it is, and I understand that it's effective. I'm saying there are equally effective methods of breaking the ice, and they don't leave you in an awkward situation trying to explain what inside? means, or blow it off and transition into normal conversation. If a girl is going to respond to "inside?" shes also likely to respond to a lot of other messages as long as they're not retarded. More normal icebreakers make transitioning into normal conversation much easier.
