[ QUOTE ]
Thanks for the tips DDY. For the record, I am willing to sacrifice having a firearm for home security in exchange for 100% guarantee my son will never have access to it (when he is staying with me), so trigger locks + safe is OK with me. Glock's Super 10 (Glock 20) [/ QUOTE ] If you have it in a safe, that should be enough. Problem is, if you have a trigger lock and have it in a safe, will you really be able to get to it quick enough if you need it? Keep in mind you may have only 5 seconds to get it. Remember that it isn't any good if you can't get to it fast enough. If you go the trigger lock+safe route, make sure you keep the key close and I suggest drilling yourself 1/month in getting it out of the safe FAST. And I agree that your son not being able to get to it should be priority #1. |
