LOL. I was going to PM you when I was done to say "thanks" (just now getting to the epilogue). I suck for not knowing about this book sooner, but I am the diest-hard of the Suns fans among my friends. Very well-written, I'd be interested in how much a non-Suns fan (you for example) enjoyed it, because I already knew all the personnel going in, and had a rooting interest of course.

Also, the author got REALLY lucky - as you know 80+% of the book covered the playoffs and they nearly were bounced in the first round, which would have changed his subject matter entirely.

Seeing as I've made three long posts I'll wrap this up, but after reading the book only now do I realize how close they were to winning it all, and how a final crippling injury (Raja Bell) was probably the final brutal straw.
