Lee,
Your site programmers will probably go into anaphalactic shock with these, but....... Bounty Button - Have a bounty button that players can click that would put them in a voluntary "Bounty Pool". All players that select participation would have their ID backlit in a noticeably different color. Las Longer Bets - Same idea, but a last longer pool.
