A lesson in kickers

Read the whole discussion before you criticize my posts . All I wanted to do with this thread was to locate the median of a poker hand .

I'm experienced enough to know better in that nl is a very complex game and you cannot just simply add your kickers to get your exact hand strength . On the other hand I think it can approximate the worth of your hands when you compare it with others .

Let me also say that there are times when it can be correct to raise with 6-4 offsuit if you think you can win the blinds uncontested . That's fine , but that doesn't preclude you from winning the blinds with something like ace 6 .
