[/ QUOTE ] That reminds me of Barry Greenstein saying that when he and Mimi Tran are in a hand, he plays a lot more straight-forward and shows his cards at the end. (Or something to that effect.) If they don't play aggressively, they open themselves up to charges of slowplaying. If they do play aggressively and someone folds before the river, they open themselves up to charges of chip dumping. In a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario like this, it seems like pros prefer to risk the former rather than the latter. |
