I think most pokerpros before the internet had some street sense to them.
Daniel N. says he grew up hustling pool games and poker games in Toronto and that experience helped him a great deal. Im actually a former pool (9 ball) player and I played very seriously for over 10 years before poker. I travelled all over the midwest looking for good games. Any one who has spent a long time in pool halls learns not to trust anyone, not even your best friend who set up the game. |
