I've played about 30 hands with villain. He seems pretty solid, not doing anything crazy.
I have $50, villain is in the SB and has me covered. Blinds are .5/1 UTG Limps. Folds to me on the button. I have A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], and raise to $5 SB calls. BB Folds Limper Folds. Pot is $12. Flop is J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checks, I bet $6, SB calls. Pot is now $24. Turn is 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I bet $24, he raises me all-in. I'm sure I'm beat, but my lousy betting has me pot committed as I have only $15 left. I call, he turns over AQ, and I'm toast. I'm thinking on this coordinted flop, after my flop bet did not take down the pot, I should have checked the turn to control the pot size. I don't think I'm winning a big pot here. This would have left the pot at $24. But then what do I do on the river? Call a small to medium bet, and fold to a big bet? Help me please. Any thoughts are appreciated. |
