[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] So they've proven it, just that nobody besides themselves have ever actually seen the proof? [/ QUOTE ] And those who employ them for specific jobs, obviously. But that isn't information that would be made public, it isn't a sport or spectacle. Do you believe that there aren't people with that kind of experience working for the military, or are you leaning toward it being a myth since we don't know them personally? [/ QUOTE ] I'm going with myth. Even getting into the world of SMUs and other operational teams of that nature, if a team member has to "square up" with another person and kill them, then something (probably numerous things) would have to of gone extremely wrong. Not even just referencing SEALs, but unarmed H2H combat is not focused on or trained to with any significant frequency anywhere in the SOF/SMU community (to include CIA SAD) to the best of my knowledge. Then, even with this training, it generally assumes that you are able to catch your opponent off guard and utilize your enviroment. And it most certainly incorporates Krav and MMA principles. |
