Stars 55 1 rebuy/1 add on...

As many of you I like to rebuy at the very beginning, but was wondering how you guys play this one. Using your rebuy and taking a nasty beat could leave you out before the first break. So my question.... is it best to rebuy at the very beginning or only if you go bust?
