The top fighter for the job could wind up in any of these groups, depending on circumstances. We're not talking about the average person from any one of these groups, but THE guy.
The top street-fighter might have a criminal history that would keep him out of the military (so he'd never have had the opportunity to be a Navy Seal). It's the same as asking which of the major sports has the best "overall" male athlete in it (in terms of pure overall physical ability). It depends where the top athlete chose to go, and what his options were. One year it might be Michael Jordan, another time it might Deion Sanders, or Lance Armstrong, or maybe he's a midfielder on an Italian soccer team, whatever. They could come from anywhere. Same thing for the top fighter. He could come from, and wind up, anywhere. |
