Durning my extended stay here in Thailand I have only been to Phuket once. I stayed 3 days and was more then ready to get the hell out. Phuket is a good example of how over development can destroy a nice place. Samui will look like that very soon too.
Bangkok seems like the only long term solution. Flying to samui for a few weekends a month is prolly more then enough island life needed to maintain a good time while living in Thailand. |
