Poker in L.A.

I stayed in a motel right off PCH in Manhattan Beach just south of El Segundo for a month or so which was quite reasonable about 15 minutes from Hollywood Park and 5 minutes from the beach.

I've also stayed at Crowne near LAX for a month which used to get a poker rate from Hollywood Park-I dont think this is available any more-anyone know?

I felt much safer cruising the areas sorounding the Bike and Commerce rather than HP but I wanted to be near the beach to run and whatnot.
