Default Re: Turning Stone to add electronic poker tables

I'm bumping this thread, using the OP of the other thread that got created:

Hi everyone. Being that ppl sed Electronic tables were coming to TS, i had to see them for myself. and i will say...they are quite cool looking. 10individual montiors (one per player), and then a much larger monitor in the center, with pot, board, and everyones chip counts given position. the noises are kind of annoyying...but it happens. TS is currently just using these to run 60 & 115 STDs. (and yes, being its TS, the rake is massive (50+10, and 100+15). very cool tables, but i hate it in terms of expanding them to cash game play. i actually like them for STD usage, its perfect, and u dont waste a dealer who wud end up gettin screwed in the deal with no tips, and no time limit on the STD itself.

But i swear to God, if these expand into cash games, im not goin back. why do u go to a poker room? to hold chips, hold cards, use reads, socialize, and enjoy the environment (hopefully)...so why wud i want to go to a B&M if its the same as online poker, but with only one table ata time? amazin...so dumb

plz discuss, and give ur experiences with the tables
