What happens when you lose your only car key?

I'm having the worst day ever right now. I believe I have lost my ONLY car key. If I dont find it, what do I do? Can I get a new key? Do I have to call the dealership?

I know I'm an idiot for not making another set. I get this, so please refrain from rubbing that in, and give actual advice as to what the hell I'm supposed to do.

Is it going to cost me tons of $$$?
