That's because most people are idiots. Also, babies getting their heads "torn" off is one of the dumbest statements ever. Stop trying to use graphic imagery to invoke an emotional response. I'm sure the doctors take out the fetus then place it on a 17th century guillotine to finish it off. Republicans do this so much, it's so annoying. Their typical speech is:

"Think of all the citizens that were burned alive on 9/11 in those towers. Now, are you gonna tell me we cant defend them by doing....."
