Traveling for work, I had a cold and went into a Korean restaurant looking for soup. I had eaten bulgogi and bibimbap, so I was not a complete n00b, but this was still one of my first times eating Korean.

I saw a beef soup on the menu, thought - perfect. So I ordered the yukejang.

I expected to get a bowl of brown broth. Instead I got <font color="red">red</font>. Glowing red.

Damn, that was hot. Took care of the sinuses, though.

Since then I have had that again, plus kimchi jigae, sun tubae jigae, etc. Good stuff.
