Moving to Las Vegas

Hi guys, I'm not completely sure if this is the correct forum to ask this. I'm thinking of moving to Las Vegas to start playing professionally but I need some advice on where to look for housing (i.e. what part of the city/neighberhoods are safe or worth the price). Maybe it crazy to think this, but are there perhaps apartments of poker players looking for roommates etc? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
