[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] The REAL nath is back...lol [/ QUOTE ] who are you? do you know anything about me to presume you know what i'm actually like? [/ QUOTE ] nath, shouldn't we factor in our expectation vs. the field, dictating that in Azaria's instance this is an automatic call because he has a negative expecation vs the field? To simplify, let's assume heads-up play and we're a very good player facing a poor player where the good player has a 60% likelihood of winning each hand. Why in a +ev situation with qq vs ak would we call knowing that every other hand we have far superior expectation of winning? [/ QUOTE ] Because in reality people don't have edges this big, and one major mistake many weak-tight players make in tournaments is overestimating their advantage vs. the field and passing on profitable situations as a result. |
