Default Why are so many people focused on workarounds...

... when they should be focused on getting poker excluded.

Instead of working on making poker legal, we are all assuming poker is illegal and trying to find more illegal ways to play this illegal game.

My interpretation of the law, and from what I've heard coming out from some of the poker sites, as well as judicial interpretations of the wire act say that Poker is excluded. Though not for "because it's a game of skill" reasons but rather for "because the cardrooms are not involved in the placing or taking of bets" reason.

Let's do what we can to work on getting the poker exclusion, rather than an illegal workaround that will likely end up putting a lot of people in jail for money laundering (at least those who deposit more than $10,000, which the feds watch).
