I'm not sure if this has been posted yet. I noticed Titan is still in the "undecided" column in Berge's post.
Just spoke to my affiliate manager who is their Sr. affiliate manager. He works with top performing affiliates, so this isn't just a peon scrubbing floors. Playtech, which is publicly traded on the LSE, has made the decision to pull out of the US market by the end of the week. No surprise... it's the publicly traded companies that are bailing. He noted that they do well in France, Italy and Spain, getting a good 50% of their traffic from non-US sources. Good news is, they won't have a problem covering US player balances and affiliate earnings for September (they owe me a bundle!)... For folks worried about getting their money from sites that are going to pull out of the US, I think the fears are unfounded. If the sites didn't have enough $$ to cover their arses, they'd be saying "we're staying in the US market! Please don't withdraw!" I don't care what customer support tells you. From my experience they're pretty clueless anyway. Titan is out. Take it to the bank. |
