[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] online poker wasnt an issue till the poker boom. basing this completely on republicans or democrats is biased. [/ QUOTE ]I only saw Democrats speaking against this legislation on the floor. Not a SINGLE Republican. A ban has passed the Republican-controlled House year after year. It is only once they had the Senate that it made it through there as well. So why was it passing the House year after year if, as you imply, it was only the recent boom that triggered this? [/ QUOTE ] it was tacked onto a port security bill. what senator in their mind would vote against that? look im not trying to make an arguement. all im saying is please dont lump actual republicans in with the radical ones. |
