Default CO Residents - How can we raise the state mandated betting limits?

Colorado has a few cities that allow poker, blackjack, and slots. Unfortunately the maximum bet at a table game is $5 which means the round trip drive to Blackhawk from Denver eats up so much profit that it's really only worth going for the occasional diversion.

Any other CO residents have any ideas on how we can start working to raise the betting limits? I would be happy to make the drive more regularly if I could play $10/$20 or $20/$40 live instead of $2-$5 spread limit.

Any suggestions appreciated, as I am a complete political n00b.
