When I saw poster - Hotmark - I remembered "The Best Hand I Ever Played"
I know he plays a ton of hands, but I have no doubt he remembers this hand and will never forget it. * Unfortunately, I don't have the hand history so I'll have to remember the hand from memory. 5/10NL Party Poker Ashley_Judd(~1300) Hotmark777 (cover) Ashley_Judd (AdQd or so I thought) raises 30 to 40 Hotmark raises 90 to 130 Ashley_Judd calls 90 (tilt) Flop T9x with two diamonds (flush draw with overs baby!) Ashley_Judd bets Hotmark777 raises Ashley_Judd raises all-in Hotmark777 calls Pot ~2700 Turn: 8d River: Jd Ashley_Judd wins pot The next day, I jumped online and Hotmark started going balistic. He started criticizing me on how I ran off a straight on him the day before for a 2700 pot. I informed him I made a flush on the hand. He disagreed. I found the hand history on PokerTracker and low and behold, I had indeed made a straight on the hand in question... I had mistaken my AhQh for AdQd and had played my hand as if I had two overs and a flush draw. Wait, it gets better, I had three/four friends standing behind me watching the hand from start to finish. Somehow none of us noticed my misread of my suits. In fact, we were elated when I turned the nut flush. However in reality, the board ran off a four card straight in addition to a four-card flush and my queen was good enough to crack Hotmark's KK, no diamond of course. Nice hand me, I immediately started using the four color deck option. |
