I don't think there's a single transition that's the most difficult. Each level has its challenges. I learn from the 25NL posts up through the 200NL posts. If the logistics for the split work out for the mods. Great. I don't expect some great quality boost from a split.
I.e. my posts won't suddenly get better or get better responses. Mark me down as against the change.
