sorry to say, but i severely dislike your wife, at least based on the actions in your post.
my only response to "honey, lets go to church" would be a resounding "HELL NO". and the way you describe your views, so should yours. what exactly are the "positive qualities" that church instills in your kids? they basically teach two things: 1- dont be an ass (which i wholly agree with) and 2- god is a bazillion times more awesome than you and it is he that is running the show, not you (which is a load of bs, to say the least). i could go into a gigantic rant here about the severe retardedness of organized religion, but lets just skip all that.
you really shouldnt let your wife push religion on you or your kids like that. marriage is about compromise and all that and there's stuff thats fair game to push on your spouse like weekends with relatives and whatnot, but religion definitely isnt one of those.
