Default Re: Who Are The Most Overrated Poker Players? (and Why?)

[ QUOTE ]
I would also put ivy in the overated players, even though he is a great player becasue he is made out to be a god from olympus. he is tops, maybe even best, but they have made more out of him than is justified. thus he is great and maybe the best, but is overated, nonetheless.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ivey should never be mentioned when discussing overrated players. If you agree that he may be the best player in the world, then you're agreeing with where others have rated him. I've never seen anyone say he's head and shoulders above the rest (let alone god-like), but it seems that most top pros respect his play the most. That's not just media or marketing hype (except Norman Chad's comments about him, but that's just his humorous way of showing respect), that's straight from the mouths of his peers.
