OT: The Throwing vs Hitting Tennis Bet

I addressed that in my post: "I have no problem with anyone who chooses to play these people - they are almost certainly going to lose that money to someone. I just sometimes decide I'd rather not be that person."

If they are nice people that I like and I know they are going to be hurt by their actions, I don't want to be the one to benefit from that. Simple as that. I don't think poorly in any way towards the gambler who takes their money, and in fact acknowledge that he is probably a better gambler than me. I gamble for fun, not for a living, and that has a big impact in the decisions I make wrt gambling.
