My understanding of quantum entanglement is that clairvoiance would only be able to get around the indeterminancy problem if it we not assumed that it existed, but that it worked below the sub-atomic level. This would surely be Star Blazers thinking. So basically the cat is both until you clairvoy it or look at it.
