These things are such a scam. I can't believe i have to pay $15/semester to use this POS for 1 class/semester.

The real problem is that in all my classes, it is worth 10-15% for attendance in 500+ people classes. I hate these things with a passion.

They take waaaaay too much time in class. It takes so much less time to do a scantron with "are you here? y/n" than fiddle with these things.

Also, that makes it so people can't "scam" it. For instance, i had 5 friends in my class, we would swap remotes and just have one person go to class each time. So stupid, they don't even make attendance/quizzes easier, and it makes it much easier for students to skip classes (vs. scantron)
