Weird Stuff You did as a Kid

Based on this cool thread. ... What sorts of odd and inexplicable things did you do as a kid?

I had a million insane habits...I was borderline OCD and diagnosed with "magical thinking" which is a cool symptom to have IMO.

One thing I would do is sit for several hours in the shower everyday. This went on from when I was maybe 8 to 11 y.o. I would pretend that I lived in ancient Rome and was a homeless ascetic holyman of some bizarre religious sect who lived in a one room cell with a view right onto the street. Sometimes I would travel through time to the middle ages and live in Elizabethan London or Baroque Vienna. Imaginary people would come to me for advice and I’d don my washcloth and have conversations with them in which I’d instruct them about the mysteries of the universe and foment revolutionary political action. The ruling authorities always wanted to get rid of me but they knew my secret society of disciples would revolt if they did.

“Who are you talking to in there?” my parents would ask.
“I’m not talking…what you mean?” (Crazier than telling the truth—you make the call!)
