[ QUOTE ]
I woudl reccomend always being as focused as possible when playing and only paly 3-4 tables at a time. [/ QUOTE ] I've stuggled with this myself. Assuming two players, a 3-4 tabler anda 9-12 tabler. Both still have lots of room to improve. Say they can beat the 400NL for a solid amount. If they both spend the same amount of time away from the tables studying, wouldn't the 9-12 tabler have an advantage getting many more hands/hr and seeing more situations? I understand the 3-4 tabler will make more optimal +EV decisions in a session, but if both players come up with the same conclusion with how to play a hand away from the table, is there a reason not to play as many tables as you can handle? Would playing 9 tables really stunt the growth of the poker player as long as he spends a lot of time reviewing his own session and coming up with the most optimal lines away from the table, and not necessarily while playing? I'm really considering just playing 3-4 tables now. I was just hoping you could expand on your thoughts a little and tell how much you think players are hurting themselves by playing too many tables. |
