[ QUOTE ]
Who cares if the new "ambassador of poker" is a no-talent luckbox? If memory serves correctly, that's exactly what Moneymaker was, and that didn't really have a negative effect on the game, did it? And if the problem is that he's a prick - since when do you need to be a good person to win a poker tournament? This just in - life does not work out like in the movies, sometimes people get what they don't deserve. I fail to see how anybody can be logically upset over this, especially since it will not affect them in any way whatsoever. You're jealous, get over it. [/ QUOTE ] You seem to be upset that we're upset. How, exactly, does our opinion effect you? Of course I don't really *care*. To me, the WSOP (hell, televised poker in general) is just a soap opera with poker. It's fun to have an opinion. I like not liking the guy. Later, I might like liking the guy. As of his last hand of the tourney, he's famous like it or not. He now has the burdeon of that fame -- part of which is to take shots from people on 2+2 who know nothing about who he really is. Boo [censored] hoo. |
