HUD Questions

I'm just starting to get into using stats. I have bought PokerTracker and PokerOffice to play around with for now, I think I am started to grasp both of them. I've tried out a few HUDs (PokerOffice's Live Tracker, PT's GameTime, and PokerAce) and so far I think I like GT (PokerOffice isn't bad either. I play mostly 1/2 Limit of $50NL My questions are:

1.) What HUD software is the most useful/effcient/simple/popular to use?

2.) What are the most important stats I should include in my HUD? Keep in mind, simpler is better as far as I'm concerned. I don't want 5,000 numbers all over the screen.

3.) Is there any advantage in using PT over PO or visa versa? Or should I continually be using both?

4.) How many of you are currently datamining? I know its against T&C on some sites and I don't really want to get into it because I think its useless at my level.
