1. Resonably trustworthy sources put Hellmuth as a resonably nice guy away from the table.

2. He ain't at the poker table.

3. This image has allowed him to sell himself for a great deal of money.

4. He could change his image (albeit gradually) if he wanted to.

Therefore, no need to feel too badly for him. The comparison with a WWE villian is an apt one.
