Basically what I think a lot of us are trying to get across is that making your site as 2+2er friendly as possible, should not be your main goal. It's nice that you ask for our input, but this strategy will not put you in the best position for long term success, and will not attract the sports betting/casino crowd you need to keep your site rake-free. If you do keep to this strategy, I have a feeling you'll end up like Absolute Poker, and I don't think anyone wants to see that.

I won't argue your points one way or the other because it's obviously a matter of opinion with valid arguements for both sides.

But I would like to know why you mention Absolute, but you don't mention Party or Poker Stars? They are the most "2+2 friendly" sites on the web, and they are the largest and most popular and successful.

Did this little fact just slip your mind?

On a side note, the WSEX GM came here for suggestions. Everyone should probably take the "semi-bot/hand history" debate to a different thread.

different time, different place. Party and Stars did not build up their player bases by being 2+2er friendly. They became 2+2er friendly after their player bases were already huge.
