[/ QUOTE ] I can't see how "legwork" is involved. It seems to involve functions of random variables to me. This isn't a trivial problem. When I ask for rigor, I get nothing. I'm suspicious. It seems you can't even begin to give a vague outline as to why this is true. But I guess if I was smart, if I was educated, I'd already know the answer. |
