on my recent honeymoon, my new wife and I got into an argument on the beach about whether the saying is "crazy like a fox" (my guess), or "dumb like a fox" (her guess). the amount of the bet quickly grew, as did the level of trash talking. i have never seen her so sure of something that she was so completely wrong about.

if she wins, she gets $1k to spend on whatever she wants and doesnt have to consult me on it. if I win, i am to receive a series of sexual favors of my choice (not including normal marital relations) to be completed within the next month.

the bet was over the next day after not one person we asked had ever heard of "dumb as a fox" [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img].


turns out that "dumb like a fox" is just a saying her dad made up and used semi frequently. thanks dad (in-law)!
