If you hadn't noticed, it's the weekend. If you haven't noticed previous happy threads, db pretty much pwns them all, and so these threads turn into his personal blog or diary; hence this week's subtitle.
Read up folks. There were some real decent hands in the last happy thread. Learn to stack and stop going so much for "value." I'm going to play alot this weekend and hopefully will fill this thread with some tricky/trappy creamy goodness. Here's da rules. Requirements for posting hands in this thread: 1. Hero believes he played the hand well. 2. HERO MUST WIN AT LEAST 80 bb's. 3. Post only converted hands and remember to post results. 4. It's also very nice of you if you can take the results out of white, so we don't have to highlight to see them. 5. If it's not obvious why you played the hand the way you did, give a quick reasoning. So, if you play a hand that qualifies over the weekend, post it here and share the joy. Per usual, I'll start: Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com UTG ($91.73) MP ($59.75) CO ($88.44) Button ($112.79) SB ($212.80) Hero ($102.50) Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50. UTG raises to $5, 4 folds, Hero raises to $17, UTG calls $13. Flop: ($36.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets $25, UTG calls $73.73 (All-In), Hero calls $48.73. Turn: ($183.96) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) River: ($183.96) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) Final Pot: $183.96 Results: Hero has Ac Ah (one pair, aces). UTG has Jh Ad (one pair, jacks). Outcome: Hero wins $183.96 |
