A little more like what? I guess I just dont see the point of it. I have everything I want in the world right now, giving some girl half my money, while she barely works, etc just doesnt seem to make sense. But, Im sure this topic has been done to death, so lets just drop it.

Well for starters, I would assume that someone you marry has a little more importance to you than just "some girl". Otherwise, youre right it doesnt make much sense. FWIW, I do agree that issues like this need to be talked about well before getting married.
