Default Re: Teapot storm all-clear

Part of the enjoyment I get out of poker is the gradual and methodical improvement that comes from "learning", whether by rote or study. The idea of a pokerbot or any AI that removes MY decision making to a large extent (if not alltogether) is repugnant. As to the A,8o scenario: If this is the first hand I have played against this opponent I fold. If I have seen him raise the last three times when folded to him in CO, I look him up. If I run into a hand so be it. If I win (whether at showdown or by pushing off post-flop) then that victory is not hollow due to some predetermined course made for me. Anyhoo, this was not meant as a hijack but I did spend 10 minutes of my life reading this thread.
