Weird things about you physically

I have a little bump on the back of my head, slightly smaller than what you might get if you bumped your head on something hard. It's right in the middle ~2 inches above where my hair ends. I've had it as long as I can remember, always assuming everyone had one. One day when I was like 16 my mom felt it and freaked out. I was like "wtf, doesn't everyone have that?" Apparently not. Anyway, I promised her that I remembered having it way back when I was younger so it was pretty unlikely to be a mutant brain tumor. She made me get an MRI anyway. It came up safe, I don't really remember what the explanation was.

Both my brother and I have this very same thing. Ive heard it called a 'bump of knowledge' before, but I have no idea as to the actual significance. fwiw A 'bump of knowledge' is present in most statues of Buddha and it appears on his head. This is to show that he is all-knowing.
