Hero ???

<font color="red"> Villain is 18/13 with an AF of 1.5 (was my table selection bad? :-D) Anyways, I check here on the turn because of the famed "check turn to control pot size and induce bluffs". In this manner, the turn call was automatic - but do I bet out the river on a hand like this? Is the check-turn to control pot meant to be an in position move, since I can't play the river in position?
