Fox has decided to rerun American Idol Season 4 to find a new Idol winner. They have invited the remaining 11 finalists back for a new "season." However, finalist Elliot Yamin is in intensive care after his personality transplant suffered setbacks, and Melissa McGhee just decided she's done with American Idol.
