Default Re: Top 15 Sci-Fi Movies of the 1950s - how do yours compare?

Crawling Eye -- good, but not good enough for my top 15

Creature from the Black Lagoon -- Tiz good, but I put this more in the horror camp than the SciFi

3D movies - Creature from the Black Lagoon was one of them! Off the top of my head, there was also 'Mystery of the Wax Museum' (or something like that), Bwana Devil. There was also assorted 'gimmick' movies, the best of which was the Tingler - where they actually wired up a few chairs to give patrons electric shocks!

King Kong - too early for this list, not sure if it's even SciFi.

Atomic kid with micky rooney - no haven't seen that.

The time machine - made in 1960, I might do a 1960s one sometime.

Journey to the center of the earth - completely missed that one, but not sure it's SciFi, and it wouldn't be in my top 15, but it is a pretty good movie.

War of the Worlds - it's on my list!
