I played 40€/80€ in a local casino last night, when the following hand came up.
5-way pot. I'm UTG+1 with A4o and announced 'RAISE' and put in 80€. I didn't notice that UTG haven't acted yet and UTG says that's his turn and he is going to call. I didn't want to raise A4o after a limper, so I said "I'll fold then", took my money and threw my cards in the middle. The dealer says "You already acted, your bet is binding!" and I had to put the money in again. I tried to take back my cards (which were in the middle of the table) but the dealer said "you already folded, the cards are dead". Is this the correct ruling? Flop came 2-3-5, but that's another story... |
