Default Re: Any crazy casino gambling stories? (non poker)

[ QUOTE ]
Anyway, there is the story of the man who took his social security disability check, $500? to Treasure Island and turned it into over a million playing blackjack. He wasn't even playing correctly according to dealers...plus he apparently was a jerk.

Yes, the guy was a total prick. He called the female dealers and waitresses unspeakable names (made some of them cry), and stiffed everybody, male and female alike.

If you're going to tell the TI story, you MUST include two things: The pork chop bones, and the shoes.

He was eating his meals at the BJ table. For supper, he had pork chops. He was eating them with his fingers, and the cards were instantly ruined. When they got down to the cut card, it was time to bring in new cards. And the best part: when he was finished with a porkchop bone, he'd toss it over his shoulder, onto the floor.

He was way up at the end of Day One, high six-figures. He wanted to go home, but the pit critters didn't want to let him go. They comped him a suite. He said he didn't have any clothes to change into. They sent him next door to the mall, and gave him a clothing shopping spree. He bought some nice clothes, and went upstairs to hit the hay.

The next morning, he came down to the casino in a nice new outfit--and no shoes or socks. They told him he couldn't play in the casino with no shoes on. He asked in return, "What are you going to do about it?" They meekly caved, and he played Day Two barefoot. He continued to work them over, now into 7-figures.

The story goes that when he lost his last chip, there was a security guard on either side of him, eager to show him to the door, and invite him to never return.
