This advice kinda sucks. Bankrolls are an issue of personal comfort. There are people like FieryJustice who don't like playing with anything less than 100 buyins due to the fact that they view going broke as the end of the world. Conversely there are guys like Dali and myself who are comfortable puting their case money on the table. It has been said a million times on this forum, but I'll repeat it again. There are a myriad of factors to consider when deciding what stakes you should play at. Among these are; ability to make money outside of poker, ability to borrow money, comfort with playing short rolled, and skill for the game.
