I have about 3k behind, Binda has me covered. So far Binda has been raising it up to $66 fairly often. I'm on his immediate left and have been floating a few flops and taking away if he shows weakness, but we haven't played a big pot together. Anyway he raises to 66 from UTG, I call with K 9 of hearts. There is also a call from the button and another call from the blinds. So 4 to the flop.
FLOP: K J 8 rainbow ($260 in the pot) Guy in blinds checks, Binda Checks, I bet $225. Then to my surprise EVERYBODY calls. I'm not sure what to think. TURN: 8 of spades (putting two spades on the board) Checks all around RIVER: 3 of spades (now there are 3 spades out there) BB checks, Binda bets 350 (almost 1200 in the pot) Do you call this? Would Binda take a stab like this? Do the odds justify a call? I'm trying to figure out what kind of hand Binda would raise with, but not bet the flop with. All of the draws that existed on the flop didn't get there. The only hands I can think of that would check the flop, but call behind that have me beat by the river are AsQs As10s 9s10s and A8. |
