Thanks for the compliments and welcome. As clear and logical as I might sometimes be, the idea of the big B&M's buying their way to the top of the internet business didn't occur to me (Doh).
If they did so, I think they'd have to move quickly, or else the internet boys might grow too large (not being geographically constrained in their market).
I think the best part of the whole issue isn't so much who will win, but that - if the US's doors can be pushed open - there will be a wonderful war between the various companies, all competing for our patronage. I like the idea of that!
